HELLO BERET

GARDEN THERAPY

This album is my response to the 9-11-2001 tragedy.

After that event, I found solace working in my garden.
The six songs recorded in Spring 2003 and one song recorded
in Spring 2002 are a result of that therapy.
The final seven songs were recorded before garden therapy
in the early 1980's

LAST MAN ON THE PLANET
I wrote these songs while on location
working on a film in Savannah Georgia
in 1994 and recorded them in 1995-1996

SANTOSHA

I recorded this album after spending a month at a yoga ashram in Northern California. Orginal songs mixed in with my take on traditional Hindu chants and Buddhist and Taoist and Christian teachings and a bit of Paganism and New Age Maze Walking thrown in for good measure
Recorded in 2000
sculpture on cover by Ivy Ney

FIREHEAD

A live recording from a performance in
Hollywood in August 2002 of this rock n' roll
musical about Internet Romance
featuring Carmel Helene as Paris
and Jared Young as Vampire Dan

BETTER 'N WAGES

5 songs recorded in 2001
11 songs recorded 1996-1999
Dedicated to my dearly departed
Grandfather whose visage
graces the cover of this CD

BIKINI BEAT

These songs were recorded in the
early 1980's while I was living at the
Magic Castle Hotel
during a decidedly
transitional period of my life

ORAL SETS

In late 2003 I arranged for poets Doreen Peri and Lightning Rod
to stand before the microphones in a Washington D.C. area recording studio to record some of their poetry. They sent the results to me in L.A. where I added music and soundscapes.

JOY URCHINS

In 1974 Clay January, Zeke Durrell, Jack Hardesty and I
recorded 5 songs in Dallas, Texas.
17 years passed before we played together again.
We regrouped in Dallas in July 2001
and recorded 5 more songs.
